How do I redeem or activate my Preschool Card?

The Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island Preschool Card is available for online registration until February 25, 2024 . After registering your child for the Preschool Card, guests must visit the park by February 25, 2024 to redeem & activate.

The 2024 Preschool Card offers kids ages 5 and younger admission to Busch Gardens through December 31, 2024, and Adventure Island through the end of the 2024 season. Available for children ages 5 and under at the time of registration, only valid for Florida residents. Does not include free parking, separately ticketed events, in-park discounts or other Premium Pass benefits. Guests may be asked to provide proof of age prior to entry.

Tour buses and school buses may park for free. A designated drop-off and pick-up area is located near the park entrance for guests who do not require parking. More accessible parking for guests with disabilities is available for the general parking fee with a valid handicap parking permit. Note: There is a 10’8” clearance for any vehicle to access the Preferred Parking lot. Parking Passes are non-refundable. Rebooking requires at least 24 hours' advance notice.

What are the attraction restrictions?

Some Rides restrictions are posted at each ride, and all guests including those using wheelchairs must meet the requirements. Please see a park ambassador at the ride if you have any questions.

When are rides closed for maintenance?

For the safety of our guests, attractions occasionally close for improvements and general maintenance. Please refer to our Closure Schedule before your visit.

What time does the park open?

Review the park hours and show times page for more detailed information. Opening and closing times vary by season. Operating hours for rides vary from normal park operating hours.

May I bring my own food and beverages into Busch Gardens Tampa Bay?

No outside food, beverages, or coolers are allowed to be brought into Busch Garden Tampa Bay, except you may bring a bottle of water or a refillable water bottle. Exceptions may be made for Guests with special dietary needs, including food allergies and baby food/formula. Guest should contact Park Security when they arrive at the Park for approval to bring in special dietary foods.

Are hands free cameras, harnesses and extensions allowed?

Please note that Selfie Sticks or any hand-held extension poles for mobile devices are not permitted on any ride.

Are lockers available?

All day self-service lockers are available for rent in the Morocco section of the park, by lost and found, near the entrance. The multi-use key pad operated lockers can be used as often as you like throughout your day. Self-service kiosks accept cash and credit cards. For your convenience, there are three dimensions of All-Day Lockers available for rent:

Riders are not permitted to have any loose articles at any of our major attractions. The following locations will have one-time use, keypad operated lockers available for rent. Self-service kiosks accept cash and credit cards. One-time use locker pricing: $3.00 for the first two hours, and $1.00 for each additional hour, with a $20.00 per day maximum. Prices are subject to change. Transferable lockers are available for $10.

Are Segways allowed?

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment® is committed to providing guests with a safe and enjoyable experience. Because of different pathway configurations and terrain as well as large crowds that include small children and strollers, we regret that we cannot permit the use of two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicles such as Segways. We are pleased to offer other forms of personal transportation, including electric convenience vehicles and standard wheelchairs and we encourage you to contact Guest Services with any questions you may have.

Are there kennel services?

On-site kennels are located at the front of the main parking lot across from the first tram stop. The air-conditioned facility is staffed from park open until park close, and the cost is $25.00 per day ($10.00 for Pass Members, excluding Fun Card holders). Park guests are required to bring pet food and to walk their pets during the day. You may bring a blanket for the pet's comfort, and a current shot record and rabies tag is required.

Can I smoke at Busch Gardens?

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is committed to a safe and friendly environment. Therefore we have provided designated smoking stations throughout the park. All indoor areas will remain smoke-free environments. Outdoor smoking stations are designated in guest areas by smoking urns, benches and "Designated Smoking Area" signs, which are situated near most restrooms. These signs are marked on the park maps.

The use of marijuana is not permitted on property at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

Can my children go to Busch Gardens without me?

Except when participating in an event intended for young guests such as our Summer Camps, sleepovers, birthday parties and educational programs, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment® suggests that visitors 13 and younger be accompanied by an adult.

What are the safety requirements at Busch Gardens?

Safety is our highest priority, and we meet or exceed all safety guidelines set forth by state agencies, industry organizations, as well as our ride and slide manufacturers. Each ride has a posted safety warning sign at the entrance, which may be different for each attraction. Guests should review these safety requirements, based on manufacturer guidelines and our park safety protocols.

What do I do if I lose my Annual Pass or Fun Card?

Reprints will be issued at any ticket window or Guest Services. Adults must present valid government-issued photo identification in order to receive their reprinted Annual Pass or Fun Card. A $5 replacement fee will be assessed for lost or stolen Passes or Fun Cards.

What credit cards are accepted at Busch Gardens?

US Bank ATMs are located throughout the park. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted at all ticket booths, restaurants and gift shops with proper identification. Personal checks are not accepted.

Alcoholic beverages can be purchased at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay by all Guests 21 years of age or older. Any guest who wishes to purchase an alcoholic beverage must present one of the following forms of identification: U.S. state driver’s license (includes U.S. territories*)

What should I wear?

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a family destination, and requires that guests wear appropriate clothing while in the park. Shirts, skirts or pants (including jeans or shorts) and shoes must be worn at all times. Costumes and masks are not permitted in the park. In addition, face painting is not permitted on any guests unless it is done by park artists.

What is Busch Gardens Tampa Bay's cancellation/refund policy?

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s zero change fee policy allows Guests to change previously made admissions reservations to a different date by calling 813-884-4FUN between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST. Additional costs apply for dates with higher ticket prices. No refund or credit is given for changes from dates with higher prices to dates with lower prices. Tickets, Passes, Membership, and Fun Cards are nonrefundable, nontransferable, revocable, and may not be redeemed for cash. Other restrictions may apply.

Most in-park experiences and products may be rescheduled 1 or more times with no fee if rebooked at least 24-48 hours prior to date of reservation (product-dependent) by calling 813-884-4FUN between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST. Where do I redeem my tickets in the park?

If you purchased your ticket prior to your visit, please check your printed or downloaded ticket page for instructions upon your arrival in the park.

Self-Service Ticketing: Annual Passe purchases online can be redeemed at any one of our fast and easy Self-Service Ticketing kiosks. Kiosks are also available for making purchases of tickets, Passes and select extras with credit cards only. Kiosks cannot redeem coupons or discounts.

Ticket Windows: Visit our full-service ticket windows to redeem discounted products, pick up will call tickets, and purchase tickets, Passes or extras.

Park Entrance: Select tickets (excluding groups 15+) and vacation packages are turnstile-ready and may be taken directly to the park entrance and bag check for admission.

Visit the Lost & Found window located in the Moroccan Village, across from Guest Services, to report lost and found items. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is not responsible for lost, missing or stolen personal property.

What accommodations are available for guests with special needs (General)?

Busch Gardens is committed to providing all guests with a safe and enjoyable experience. Busch Gardens features more than 50 thrilling rides, shows and attractions. There is fun and adventure for the entire family. We make every effort to ensure that all guests can have an enjoyable experience.

Guest Services : Guest Services is situated inside the park entrance on the left hand side as you enter the park. Guests with disabilities are welcome to stop by Guest Services for any assistance they require.

Parking : Parking for guests with disabilities is available in Lot A near the main entrance on a first-come, first-served basis for guests with a legal parking permit. This parking area is designated by blue-striped parking lanes. All spaces are van-accessible. Vehicles parked in disabled parking without a permit are subject to applicable laws.

Wheelchair & Stroller Rental : Reserve a wheelchair or stroller online. Wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV's) may be rented at Stroller Rental near the front gate of the park in Morocco. Wheelchairs and ECV's are available for a nominal fee on a "first-come, first served" basis to guests with disabilities. Guests may also use their own wheelchairs or single passenger ECV's. Guests using wheelchairs may join any admissions line to enter the park. Use of Segways is not permitted at Busch Gardens .

First Aid : Busch Gardens®’ First Aid stations are located in Pantopia, Sesame Street Safari of Fun, Security, and near Cheetah Hunt®. These offices are staffed by Registered Nurses and Emergency Medical Technicians. Team members throughout the park will be happy to call for assistance upon request.

Service Animals : Service animals are welcomed at most locations throughout Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Guests who use service animals must retain control of their animals at all times and should keep them on a leash or harness while visiting. Due to the nature of some attractions, service animals may not be permitted to ride. At these locations, please ask an ambassador about available options. What accommodations are available for guests with special needs (Rides)?

Busch Gardens is committed to providing all guests with a safe and enjoyable experience. Busch Gardens features more than 50 thrilling rides, shows and attractions. There is fun and adventure for the entire family. We make every effort to ensure that all guests can have an enjoyable experience.

Ride Information for Physically Challenged Guests : At Busch Gardens , safety is the only consideration that takes precedence over fun. Thrill rides by their very nature create forces and speeds that may not be acceptable to some people, and may cause injury to some riders with preexisting health conditions.

In general, all riders must be in good health. Those who have had recent surgery, expectant mothers, those with high blood pressure, heart conditions, neck or back problems and those with any impairment or condition that would prevent normal seating or use of safety restraints as provided, should not board.

Riders must be able to remain sitting up straight, keep their head erect, their back and shoulders against the seat back and their hands, arms, legs and feet down and inside the ride at all times. Each ride has its own restriction sign at the ride entrance. Please review these closely.

Visually Impaired Guests : Those guests with visual impairments must have someone (a companion or park ambassador) read the ride restrictions to them prior to boarding.

Casts and Limb Braces : Guests with casts or limb braces will be restricted from riding certain rides where the cast or brace may present a hazard to the guest or others. Please consult with our Guest Services representative for more information or if in doubt about your ability to safely experience a ride.

Guests with hard casts cannot ride Kumba , Montu or SheiKra.

Ride Accessibility : At Busch Gardens Tampa Bay , safety is the only consideration that takes precedence over fun. Guests who have physical conditions that would prevent normal seating or use of the safety restraints should not board the following rides:

Guests with limited physical ability should be able to continuously grasp lap bars and/or railings, maintain themselves independently in an upright position and be able to absorb sudden and dramatic movements on the attractions listed above.

During the evacuation of any ride, ambulatory guests may be removed before those guests requiring assistance. Guests accept any additional risk associated with an emergency evacuation.
