At this time, we do not offer continuing education units in the District of Columbia.

To earn MI SCECH, you must currently reside in the state of Michigan. You must attend the entire program and complete the BER online evaluation at the end of the program. You will be asked to submit your PIC: Personal Identification Code. You will receive an email post-seminar with a MI SCECH application. Complete and submit the participant MI SCECH application and a $25 fee to Eastern Michigan University. Specific directions are on the form you will receive.

Requirements for Earning MT Renewal Units:
Participants must attend the entire program and complete the required BER evaluation at the end of the program. In the evaluation, please select the option for MT Renewal Units and complete the requested information.
Within 10 business days of completing the BER evaluation, participants will receive both the "Montana Certificate of Renewal Units Earned for Professional Development Activities" form and a BER Certificate of Participation. Follow the instructions on the Montana Certificate of Renewal Units form to apply for MT Renewal Units.

No credit for one-day programs.
For multi-day programs, 1 NC Renewal Credit for 10 hours of attendance with prior approval (BER programs are 5 hours per day of attendance). It is up to your organization to approve for credit prior to the event.

BER is not an ACT 48 Provider/Recorder, which means the responsibility for recognizing, granting, and recording professional development hours in the state database is with the participant and their Local Education Agency (which may be a District or Intermediate Unit). It is up to the Local Education Agency to determine if the activity is consistent with their PDE-approved professional education plan.

BER one-day programs are not eligible for Wyoming credit. The state of Wyoming requires an event to be at least 7 contact hours to be eligible for credit, and BER's one-day programs are 5 hours of instruction. At this time, we do not submit our multi-day events for pre-approval through Wyoming. It is up to participants to submit for approval on their own and report their own attendance if they are interested in Wyoming credit.
